Project Analyst

Support statewide Management Consulting initiatives with RICAR Business Consulting LLC (RBC)

RICAR Business Consulting LLC (RBC) is a management consulting firm that provides expert advisory and project support services to public sector clients. RBC has been selected to support the Florida Department of Management Services' Statewide Management Consulting Services, helping state agencies and eligible users achieve strategic goals and improve organizational performance.

We are seeking a  Project Analyst to provide high-quality project support, research, and documentation services to senior consultants and implementation teams. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful statewide projects that impact citizens and communities across Florida.

Job Description Summary

As a  Project Analyst , you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of consulting services. You will research, analyze, and compile project data, assist with solution development, and create documentation that guides decision-making. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated to contribute to high-impact government consulting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project support services to senior consultants and implementation teams
  • Conduct project-related research, collect information, and synthesize findings
  • Compile and track analysis of project data, metrics, and outcomes
  • Assist in analyzing solution requirements and recommending improvements
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Independently plan and execute assigned project tasks in accordance with client requirements
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and deliverables

Required Experience

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a project support, research, or analysis role within consulting, government, or a related professional field
  • Experience working with datasets, project tracking tools, or performance metrics
  • Familiarity with project management concepts and research methodologies
  • Strong written communication and technical documentation skills

5. Education & Certifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Political Science, Data Analytics, or a related field

Preferred

  • Coursework or certification in Project Management, or Data Analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel Advanced)

Work Location & Arrangement

  • Work will be performed at  Customer locations across the State of Florida
  • Remote or hybrid work may be authorized depending on the Customer's project requirements
  • Specific duty station (on-site, hybrid, or remote) will be defined in each project assignment

Schedule & Position Type

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday, standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Travel Requirement: Travel may be required if specifically authorized by the Customer in writing and will be reimbursed in accordance with section 112.061, Florida Statutes.

Compensation Range

  • Salary: $52,000 – $76,960 annually (approximately $25–$37 per hour), depending on qualifications and experience
  • Paid bi-weekly
