Phlebotomist - Lab Facility - Burleson, TX

Starting Pay: $18-$21/hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking a skilled, patient-focused Phlebotomist for a reputable lab facility in Burleson, TX . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and full benefits.

We are looking for professionals who are passionate about patient care and experienced in high-volume phlebotomy. This role requires strong technical skills, particularly in working with pediatric and geriatric populations , and proficiency in handling difficult draws . Previous experience with reference labs such as Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, CPL, or PathGroup is required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform accurate venipunctures and capillary collections from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric.
* Prepare, label, and process specimens according to established lab protocols.
* Ensure all specimens are collected, documented, and handled correctly for diagnostic testing.
* Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly to create a comfortable environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and functionality of collection equipment and workstations.
* Follow all safety and compliance standards consistently.

Required Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent - Required
* Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience - Required
* Proven ability to manage high patient volume with skill and professionalism
* Experience with reference labs (Quest, LabCorp, CPL, PathGroup)
* Skilled in processing specimens and managing lab documentation
* Comfortable with complex, hard-to-locate veins and working with sensitive patient populations

Preferred Qualifications:

* Phlebotomy Certification
* Background in Medical Assisting or Paramedic Training
* Customer service experience in healthcare or retail settings
* Keyboard/data entry proficiency
