We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient oncology infusion team in East Tennessee . This role is ideal for Clinical Nurse II or III candidates with a strong oncology background who are interested in relocating or transitioning from another Tennessee market .
This position provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality oncology care in a collaborative, patient-focused outpatient setting.
$32–$42/hour
Based on experience and clinical level (Clin II or Clin III)
Day shift
Outpatient infusion setting
Full-time
Outpatient oncology / infusion center
Multidisciplinary care team
High level of clinical autonomy and expertise
Provide professional nursing care to oncology patients receiving outpatient infusion therapies
Assess patient and family needs and develop individualized plans of care
Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy in accordance with protocols
Monitor patient responses and manage complex clinical situations independently
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and clinical support staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects
Precept new staff and contribute to staff education and orientation
Active Tennessee RN license
Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience (must be reflected on resume)
Eligible for Clinical Nurse II or III level
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Outpatient oncology infusion experience
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
Experience precepting or mentoring other nurses
