**Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler** **Job Description** As a Manufacturing Assembler, you will meticulously follow assembly procedures and work instructions to ensure precise and accurate assembly of components. Your role will involve verifying material integrity, assembling components in specific orders using the correct tools, and conducting visual inspections as per the guidelines. **Responsibilities** + Verify the integrity of materials to be assembled according to the assembly procedure and/or work instruction. + Assemble components in specific orders, using the proper tooling and equipment specified in the procedures/work instructions. + Perform visual inspection of components and/or assembly according to procedure/work instruction. + Identify and report defective components. + Ensure the accuracy of work-in-process associated with the work cell. + Maintain cleanliness in your work area and surrounding workspace. + Fulfill any other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers. + Knowledge of ISO9001 standards. + Ability to read procedures, interpret visual aids, and follow mechanical and electrical drawings. + Expertise in precision mechanical component placement and assembly, including microscope assembly and gearboxes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in gloveboxes and working under a microscope with small parts is a bonus. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic startup with locations in Emeryville and Santa Clara, offering an innovative and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and creativity. **Work Environment** This position is based onsite in Berkeley, requiring you to be within a 45-minute commute. The work environment is fast-paced and involves using advanced tools and technologies to assemble high-precision components. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emeryville, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
