Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Staff Accountant

Location: Marrero, LA | Hybrid role

Office Hours: 8:30 AM– 5:00 PM CT

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to grow with a company that’s making waves in the fitness industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and ensure all payments are entered timely and accurate
• Assist with preparing and importing customer invoices from Excel templates
• Prepare weekly payment runs (check, ACH, wire)
• Assist with Vendor and Customer month end reconciliations
• Support reconciliations of AP and AR schedules, flagging differences for review
• Monitor and respond to vendor and customer inquiries
• Provide documentation and support for month-end close tasks
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records including W-9s and 1099 compliance
• Collaborate with corporate teams to resolve any AP or AR issues
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of AP or general accounting experience
• Experience in a multi-location/franchise environment is a plus
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage X3, or similar
• Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• A proactive, team-player mindset with great communication skills
